Service Description
Come and join us to flex your creativity whilst exploring your relationship with motherhood. You might want to reflect on a current or previous pregnancy, to think about who you are and want to be as a Mother. It may be conceptual or literal. It's an inclusive space for everyone and an opportunity to focus on yourself and your own journey, from any stage of Motherhood. You are welcome to work in whatever way suits you but the focus for each session will be as follows: Thursday 5th March - Collage Cut & Paste Poetry and Celebrating Motherhood Sophie Blindstrub and Fran Burden Thursday 12th March - Poetry Contents Page Poem and Your List Poem Deanna Rodger and Hollie McNish Thursday 19th March - Writing Who Am I? and A Recipe For Bridget Minamore and Shagufta K Iqbal Thursday 26th March - Drawing My Amazing Hands and Altered Images You will be given your own journal to start working on and at the end of the session, you can take it home with you to continue to fill in your own time The session is hosted by Jess and Soraia - two Bristol based birth workers passionate about pregnancy, birth and motherhood as well as all types of art and craft! WHERE: Steam Crane, North Street, BS3 WHEN: Thursdays 6.30pm-8pm (this block runs from 5th March to 26th March) PRICE: £10 per person (includes all craft supplies) Please note, we will be based upstairs at the venue, a lovely room above the pub. Unfortunately there isn't wheelchair or buggy access so buggies will need to be left downstairs (there is a designated space for them to be left).
